And in the meantime…

Today Sam and I celebrated a milestone in Lindsey Joy Photography that is leaving me feeling so incredibly humbled and blessed!
As a child I always wanted to be an artist when I was older. And at 25 I can confidently say I am living the dream and I still can’t believe it! Making art from genuine love stories, encouraging and cultivating intentional moments, emotions, hooking my heart into each couples wedding story, being a friend and loving support on the most important days of peoples lives. Being supported and supporting an incredible community of creatives surrounding me. I don’t even like seeing it as my job because I truly don’t feel like it is! I’m just floored and can’t stop thanking God for His goodness in my life!
This year in my business has provided new hardships, new joys, and new successes. And I feel incredibly thankful for all of it!
THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for every single couple, business, senior, and family that has trusted your loving moments with my photography! I truly couldn’t be here without your support, and I wouldn’t be here without your encouragement, love, sweet texts, and beautiful love stories to document!!
THANK YOU to my husband, Sam, for his patience with my long work days, never ending support, and encouragement! Thank you for being my rock and inspiration. Thank you to my family and friends who are always so caring, loving, and patient, even when I miss every weekend event! You know who you are and I’m thankful for every single one of you!
THANK YOU to the incredible wedding industry community that surrounds me. You all are insanely talented and it’s an honor to work alongside each one of you!!
God is so good. All the time. ✨

Its always been Harry and Tina... This is what they told me on our consultation call after they told me the story of how they met at high school English class and were together ever since. Now, they are husband and wife! ✨
What an honor it was to tell the story of this beautiful backyard wedding celebrating Harry + Tina! Held in Tinas grandparents’ backyard, their day was simply centered around being with their people. The rain came and went, it poured during the ceremony, and as soon as they were pronounced husband and wife - the sun came out! They ate pizza and danced all night as the fog rolled in. And every single thing was perfect!

Well hello folks! 🌿 It has been a while since I've introduced myself and even been active on this side of the internet so we deserve a re-introduction!
I'm Lindsey, the face, soul, and personality behind Lindsey Joy Photography. JOY comes from my middle name but I have built my business around this word as I strive to carry the joy of the Lord with and through my business.
✨ I specialize in intentional, storytelling wedding photography based Bucks County, PA and always traveling. What does intentional wedding photography mean? It means I dig a bit deeper, get to know wedding couples before their day - via intentional questionnaires, and a complimentary engagement session. As well as timeline calls, focusing on capturing the things and people that matter most, over a “traditional shot list”. My wedding packages are all-inclusive - not holding anything back from my couples to ensure they have the best wedding experience.
Overall I strive to live my life as one full of intention, gratitude, and thoughtfulness. If you are new here, you might not yet know some of the things that I treasure most here on earth, things I thank God for every day. These are all foundations I have built myself on and show through in my business.
🍄 My husband Sam, he is my home on this earth and learning and growing alongside him is my favorite adventure I have ever been on.
🏡 Fiddlehead Cottage - the tiny cottage which is our spring-fall home and my favorite place on earth.
🌿 Nature - gardening, foraging wild foods, hiking, and being good stewards of creation. If the temperature is above 60 I will indeed be wandering around barefoot!
💌 My family and friends - I am so blessed to be close with all of my family and this is what my intentional nature has stemmed from. At 18 I moved from CO to PA to be close to Sam - but that was away from my entire family + friends. Being intentional with the time we have has become an essential practice in our lives and I truly savor every second I have with them.
I can't wait to catch up and share all of the beauty I've been honored to capture this year!

Sunrise wake up call with Sam + Mike and I’d do it all over again!
These two have been long-distance their entire relationship. And up until our engagement session, most of their photos together were selfies during their visits. And it was such an honor to be their first official photos together and yeeesh did they crush these photos! I mean it’s hard not to when they are literally radiating love and joy! 🥰
Key words || bucks county wedding photographer, peace valley park, pa wedding photographer, storytelling engagement session

I don’t know who stole the show more, Charlie or Mount Rainier 😉
Kidding kidding, it was the way that Laura and Sam looked at each other, how they glowed with joy while adventuring together, its the beautiful love & life they have built together in Washington State that truly steals the attention! ✨
Their favorite thing to do together is to hike through the mountains, chasing the sunsets with their Goldendoodle Charlie at their side (or more realistically Charlie making laps around them to find the most perfect stick to carry along the way!) Finishing the night snuggled up in their van, planning the next alpine lake to explore. After hearing this, I knew that we had to photograph their engagement photos in the mountains of Washington State. And oh my gosh I would travel to the other side of the country all over again for these two!
We had a blast! The night began with grabbing dinner and drinks together, then went off to hike with Charlie while he splashed through puddles and barreled up and down the trail, then drove into the park where we chased the sunset and ended the night with the reflection of the towering Mt. Rainier reflecting on a perfectly still mountain lake.
I feel SO incredibly blessed to have gone on this adventure to capture Laura + Sam in their happy place! Next up is their wedding in Bucks County, PA and I can’t wait!!

I had the most inspiring conversation with a woman from the antique store.
The conversation began talking about non-traditional weddings and how the big party isn't for every couple. And then the conversation shifted into how we should be intentional with the people we are blessed to have in our lives.
She told me "I buy flowers for people all the time" and went on to explain that every year for HER birthday, she would take flowers to her mother. Just to say "thank you" because if her mom didn't carry her, she wouldn't be here. "We wait until people are dead to get them flowers, and say what we loved about them at their funerals. What if we actually told them what we admire about them + give them the flowers while they are here with us?!"
Sometimes the things that are the simplest to do, are the things most easy to forget.
💖 SO this is your challenge. Take time to tell that person you love, that you love and appreciate them, admire them, and why you do! Buy someone flowers. Don't wait to express your feelings, be intentional in the moment!
I hope this lovely conversation inspires you too.
